Tipped in at the title is the 1899 bookseller's invoice for its sale to the family with whom it has stayed till now. At some time very neatly rebacked with new cream endpapers and the original spine laid down. In the original textured bottle-green cloth with gilt naval insignia to the front and title to the spine.
