Two-page map of Ireland by Clapp; +[iv], title page & list of works on the History of Ireland; +193pp, text, with 3 plates reproducing fine engraved scenes, and 3 other illustrations; +[5], Chronological Table and Index; +[3]-25, Questions on the History of Ireland; +[8], Publisher's advertisements, mostly for Miss Corner's works. Original yellow endpapers. Contents very clean. Slight soiling to p.13, and mark from removed label to corner of front free endpaper. 8vo, 18x12cms, in the original binding of olive green cloth decorated and titled in red and black. Firm, and fairly bright, slightly rubbed, with a little light soiling, and with slight bubbling of the cloth to the upper board. Spine ends crimped and corners slightly scuffed. An entirely viable copy. [Grounds for putative publication date include Questions pages referring to events which occurred in 1886 as 'recent']. Good. Item #18889080
