Edinburgh: William Green & Sons, 1899-1904, 1910. First edition. Hardcover. A big set in VG condition, with many expert contributors. With some illustrations in line, and occasional photographs and a few colour plates. Faint spotting to first Vol, otherwise contents all appear clean. Ownership name to endpaper of some vols. Vol 10 has front endpaper gutter repair. Original navy bindings firm, some marks or soiling to cloth. The planned second supplementary volume was apparently never published. A very good set, not often found intact. Very Good. Item #18998040
