Original brown endpapers with armorial bookplate dated 1901, and 1944 ownership name to verso of front free endpaper. 'Note added in Press' tipped in at Preface. Foxing to prelims and to untrimmed fore-edges. Contents otherwise clean, with occasional minor spotting. Top edge gilt. In the original binding of red pebble cloth titled in gilt, decorated with a small gilt lighthouse to front. Clean and firm, front bright, spine slightly dulled. Small nick to head of spine, and slight blunting to extremities. A very nice copy. Very Good. Item #19005040
