Syd Carter was well-known from the 1940s for his broadcasts and lectures on farming and other topics, and was held in affection and esteem by many. This book was published the year before his death. Pages clean, slight library marks to endpaper and number to spine: small ink mark on p.19. Half-title gutter has a narrow split, stained from former sellotape. In the original binding of green cloth, boards firm and fairly bright, spine dulled: all extremities fraying a little. Very scarce title. A good serviceable copy. G. Item #19528040
