Author's signed title page inscription to The City of London Freemen's school - 'These singing kids.. Elsewhere.. Higher... with deep sympathy'. This is the earliest work by Le Coz of which I can find any reference online, and it appears to have won her some recognition: according to the back flap bio notes under her photo: '..dessinatrice et auteur de contes philosophiques, d'expression symbolique. Medaille d'or de l'Academie Internationale de Lutèce 1987 pour la pièce <>'. Contents very clean. 210x150mm, in cream card covers reproducing one of the illustrations from the book. However, while the back cover has a fold-in flap, the front does not: either this was an eccentricity or it may have been very neatly excised at some time. There is some very light soiling to the covers, and some toning to the spine. Very Good. Item #19873100
