The contents are in very good clean condition, with some foxing, and offsetting from the plates to the facing pages. Back free endpaper is a replacement. Cambridge appears to have been a sweet-tempered, genial, and amusing man with diverse interests, and his writing conveys this. Quarto, 27.5x22cms, in a contemporary binding of full diced calf, joints and ends refurbished, boards ruled and with a decorative gilt border, spine with raised bands and gilt decoration to the compartments, with a new label.
