London: New Fiction Press, distributed by Gaywood Press, [1952]. Apparently First Edition. Paperback. 125pp, +[2] ads. 7"x4.75" stapled text block with thin pictorial paper covers. Fresh, original, early copy from long storage. Appears unread: pages good, with slight tanning to edges: no tears, creases, soiling, or foxing, to either the pages or the cover. Clean staples visible at inner margins. The front cover by Reginald Heade - a woman in a white stole - is totally bright and fresh. Small (max 4mm) scuffs to joint ends, and two tiny nicks along the upper joint. This is the third title in Janson's Fourth Series. Back cover lists previous titles. Amazing copy, looks like you just bought it new. Fine. Item #19529124

[nb: In hot and dry conditions, these Janson titles tend to tighten up and buckle slightly, so they ‘pop’ as you bend them. There is no harm in this. Their relative flexibility is soon restored when the conditions change.].
