Paperback. 142pp, +[ii] ads. pp137-142 are taken up with 'A personal letter to his readers' from Janson. 7"x4.75" stapled text block with thin pictorial paper covers. Fresh, original, early copy from long storage. Staples bright. Pages bright, with no tears, creases, soiling, or foxing, with slight tanning to the final pages. The front cover, by Reginald Heade - a woman seated on the floor with scant covering - is bright and clean. Back cover has colour ad for 'One Man in His Time': image fuzzy as registration poor. Inner plain white surface of front and back covers have some pale blue marks offprinted from other sheets during production. Small spots near the spine to front and back covers where the staples have pushed through slightly. This is the third title in Janson's Series of six 'Specials'. List on back of title page gives the next title, Unseen Assassin, as being 'in preparation'. Superb copy. Fine. Item #19539120
