No inscriptions or marks, contents very clean, half-title tanned, probably due to items having at some time been laid in. Firm, in the original navy cloth-textured binding, spine titled in gilt. Corners good, spine ends puckered. Faint marks and slight dulling. Tells of the author's recruitment in 1940 for 'Special Duties' doing secret work in the radar stations along our coasts, in conditions of extreme danger. A very nice copy of a scarce title. VG+.
