With a frontis to each title, and a number of other cuts in the text. Contents in very good clean condition. The prelim blank leaf bears an early owner's jotted sum in brown ink recto: facing it, on the back of the front endpaper, is a recent owner's name in biro. Top line of text shaved at A4 & A6 of the second part. 12mo, 15x8.5cms, original binding of contemporary full calf, with four raised bands, gilt ruled. Professionally refurbished with Japanese tissue, and some peeling of calf from rear board tinted not to obtrude. An attractive, sound, and very well preserved copy. Very Good+.
