[C. Dinmore]:

A Correct Copy of all the Addresses, Squibs, Songs, Poetry, &c. which appeared during the late Contested Election for a Burgess to serve in Parliament for the Borough of King's Lynn in the County of Norfolk.

Lynn Regis [Norfolk], Printed for and Published by C. Dinmore, 1822. First edition. [ii], iv, 108pp, plus the guarded foldout woodcut frontis, 'Don't I look spruce on my Neddy?', and includes ten pages listing the voters and how they voted taken from the Poll Book. Furious mudslinging and some violence in the people's campaign to avoid having a placeman foisted on them: it failed (see the online History of Parliament). Print bold and pages good, though with foxing throughout and some browning. 1cm loss to corner of foldout. 12mo, c.18x12cms, in the original blue publishers' boards with new cream spine and label. Rare. Good copy. Very Good.
