Contents clean and bright, with minor spotting to title pages, almost none elsewhere. One page edge damaged, some plate edges pricked, and a depression mark to the back of one portrait. A very nice set with new cream endpapers in the contemporary binding of bottle-green pebble cloth, rebacked (except Vol IV), with the original labelled spines laid down. Large 8vo, 24x14.5cms, and taking up nearly a foot of shelf space.
