The Temple Bible: Complete in 30 volumes, which include the Apocryphal books as well as the Bishop of Ripon's Introduction to the Study of the Scriptures.

London: J.M. Dent & Co, 1902. First printing of this edition. 120 to 250pp per volume, well printed, each with a guarded frontis and rubricated title, half-title, and headings. Small, barely-discernible faded early gift inscription to most front free endpapers: some endpapers foxed. Otherwise contents clean and unmarked. 132x102mm, top edges gilt, in diced green calf over flexible boards, each with gilt medallion to front and spine titled in gilt. Some scuffing to ends and a few with small chips, but all boards firm and gilt bright. Proverbs has been professionally repaired with Japanese tissue, while Hebrews has a strap of cloth glued across the head of the spine to reinforce it. A pretty set, showing light wear.
