Forty-four Turkish Fairy Tales.
Collected and translated by Dr. Ignacz Kunos, with illustrations by Willy Pogany:

Forty-four Turkish Fairy Tales.

London: Harrap, n.d. [1913]. First edition. 364pp, with pictorial endpapers and many illustrations in the text, plus the 16 tipped-in plates mounted on grey card. Carefully-penned large 1917 gift inscription to the blank verso of the front endpaper. Contents very clean, with a little foxing to the pages immediately adjacent to the endpapers, and occasionally some foxing to the closed fore-edge of the text block encroaches very slightly onto the page edges. One plate has a small crease to one corner. Quarto, in the decorative binding of pale tan cloth: firm and bright with a little light soiling, and puckering to the spine ends. A very nice copy. Very Good+.
