Light foxing to the publishers' advertisements, faint browning to the endpapers, and a small foxing spot penetrating the front endpaper. In the original binding of russet cloth, front ruled and titled in blind, spine titled in gilt. Firm and clean, spine ends puckered: but the upper parts of front, spine and back have lost some colour to former damp. In the protected pale blue dust jacket. This has small nicks to the joint ends, and shallow chips to the spine ends, with a little loss to the corners and the top edge. The spine is dulled and soiled, the panels are clean, and the flaps are bright. Very scarce in jacket. Very Good- in VG dust-jacket.
