The Sixth Crime Club Omnibus: Rope to Spare, Death of a Star, Dead Man's Hat, Song of Doom.
Philip MacDonald, G.D.H. & M. Cole, Hulbert Footner, Virgil Markham:

The Sixth Crime Club Omnibus: Rope to Spare, Death of a Star, Dead Man's Hat, Song of Doom.

London: The Crime Club Ltd, by Wm. Collins Sons, 1934. First edition thus. Ex-Library copy. Over a thousand pages, well-printed, on good paper - and clean, except for about 20 which have either idle ink marks (mostly in the margins), a library stamp to the corner, some minor soil mark, or, in two cases, a small tear. Endpapers toned, with some soiling, and with a modern armorial bookplate to the front pastedown, library labels to the facing endpaper, and a library stamp to the rear pastedown. In the refurbished sturdy library binding of an attractive smooth brick-red cloth, spine titled in gilt, and with two faint library numbers in white. The MacDonald and Markham stories are rare. A surprisingly congenial copy.
