Non-violence in Peace and War.
M.K. Gandhi:

Non-violence in Peace and War.

Ahmedabad: Navajivan Publishing House, 1942. First edition of 2,000 copies. 608pp. Contents clean and in very good order, with negligible foxing to a few pages. Corrigenda slip laid in. Neat 1943 ownership name to front free endpaper. Faint mottling to endpapers. In the original binding of grey boards with cloth spine, titled in navy. Spine clean and firm, small marks and scuffs to boards, small knock to lower corners, silverfish surface nibbling to a few mm at leading edge of upper board. Includes Gandhi's radical advice to Britain, to let Hitler and Mussolini occupy the land and take whatever they want, thereby obtaining a moral victory, rather than turning ourselves into an equally effective fighting machine to beat them with arms, which he would regard as their victory. A very nice copy. VG+.
