Tessa Newcomb: with Philip Vann, and with a foreword by Richard Mabey:
The Adorable Plot. Paintings and writings about garden allotments. [Signed copy]

Bristol: Sansom & Company, 2012. First edition. 96pp, richly illustrated in colour. The title sounds as though this could be an anthology, but the paintings and, after the introduction, the writings, are all by Newcomb. Quarto glossy paperback, 27x21cms, in fresh, unread condition. Brings together her art, her sly writing, and her love of country process and growing things: full of delight, and firmly rooted in earthy and concise observation. Half title signed by Tessa Newcomb. Lovely copy. Mint.
