Defective, lacking both the title page and p.xi/xii in the prelims, which should conclude the list of diagrams. First plan quite creased, but the rest are good, one or two with repairs or mis-folds. In the original binding of navy cloth with yacht in gilt on front, lettered in black, spine lettered in gilt: rebacked, conserving the yellow advertisement endpapers, and with the original worn spine laid down. Good firm working copy. [Precedes the 1888 US first edition.] Good.

Bright and clean, spine ends puckered, no serious signs of wear: a very nice copy. Very Good+.
